The EM5 is not even out yet! what if it's not as good as you anticipated? but I think you are probably right.. I like the tilt screen for sure.. and the other features that they advertise.. high ISO quality etc.. I like the PL 25/1.4 on the OLY EPL3.. so many choices.. shessh..

GX1 + PL25 .....but that may change once the EM5 is released and I get a chance to actually use it .....otherwise the best is clearly the GH7 !

OM-D plus 14mm (the lens is determined by what you shoot most ... so no magic bullet for the ultimate combo) ... the 100-300 would be good too, (wish it was faster, like 2.8 faster).

Honestly, I kinda want an E-PM2. I just want that 16mp sensor in the E-PM1 chassis, and I'll be set. The E-PM1 for me has proven to be an excellent street camera. Leica shooters who think they're going stealth stick out like a fancy tourist next to an E-PM1 & 14 pancake setup.

Most people on the street wouldn't recognize a Leica anyways, to them it's probably just some guy with an old film camera (obviously a hipster!!) , it's just tragics like us that see one and go "freakin hell, that -------- has got an M9"

    ;)

A Leica looks expensive especially if it's two tone with the silver trim! I think it depends on the shooter. A real stealthy shooter usually keeps their camera in a bag especially in shady areas.

Okay if I am understanding this right, what would I choose by morning as MY ultimate combo...is that right? It really depends. For some types of shooting I prefer the mini DSLR body and others the PEN style. I suppose if I had to choose only one (of currently available stuff) I'd probably choose the GH2 and a Olympus 45.

Real shooters never put the camera in a bag, can't take many photos in a bag.

Bag with a hole for the lens? And a VF connected to the body via an extension cable? That ought to be pretty stealthy

For me, I find the GF1/20mm to be optimum for casual/walkaround work due to the curtailed dimensions.

    When I desire optimum light-capturing capability, I use the GH2/CV 25mm.
