I've seen around that some of the m42-m43 adapters are adjustable and some are not.

What are the benefits or having an adjustable adapter?

Most M42 adapters have set screws holding the ring with the lens mounting threads. loosening the screws allows the ring to rotate so the markings on the lens are in the right orientation.

Some also have two interchangeable rings, one that doesn't depress the stop down pin found on some M42 lenses and one that does.

I see. At first I thought it got something to do with fine tuning the distance between back of the lens and camera sensor. Silly me
I have no use for pin, since Helios 58mm 2.0 does not have any pins.

Thank you Fred for your quick response and help
