I want to carry my GX1 with me everywhere with either the 50/1.4 or the 20 or maybe both in the bag. And I want my bag to function as a purse. What are your suggestions?

How big of a purse do you carry? do you like a lot of compartments for your stuff, or do you manage with using "the black hole" organizational approach (also called "the great abyss" or "the portal to Narnia")? What color(s) would you carry?

Yes, I'm a man. Yes, I'm also qualified to help you with this conundrum.

Check out the Ona "Bowery." Amazon.com: ONA The Bowery Camera Bag and Insert, Black: Camera & Photo
I have the black version and it might just do the trick unless it is too small depending on how much you carry in your purse. There are also some nice bags on "Etsy" that are made for mirrorless but look like a purse.

Lots of bag inserts out there. If your usual bag is big enough, it's a good option. I've thought of getting one for my briefcase and backpack. Of course, my Domke FXA is often my purse. ;-)

Another vote for the Ona Bowery bag. Has enough room for my EP3 with 17 1.8 and 45 plus three batteries.

It is a very nice and stylish bag.

A Billingham Hadley Small could be right up your alley. It's a bag that men often refer to as their murse. Beautiful build, materials, waterproof, timeless, non-camera bag looking.

I've bought the hadley small and I wouldn't want anything bigger. It easily holds the 50-200, om-d, 14-54 with hood on, 12-50, 14 2.5 and the battery grip + some cards and an iPad.

B&H has a whole category of camera bags for women. Suggest you hit that, and see all the brands that are out there. :)

Yes, I was concerned about the size as well. The measurements are on her Etsy site but here is a pic of the mirrorless bag being worn my a woman. I will post some pics of my bag when I get it but it'll be 2-3 weeks.
