I picked up a couple of memory cards. Lexar 16 GB 400x and SanDisk 32 GB 200x. Just going to return the SanDisk, speed > capacity for me.

Why did I get two? The first store I hit sold out of the Lexar.

    What did you get?

Pre-ordered on Wednesday, took delivery on Black Friday of the Sigma 30mm :43: mount lens.

On sale at Amazon, B&H, and Adorama for $149.00. (Sale price went into effect on 11/22; Amazon honored the price if lens was pre-ordered on 11/21).
I guess that counts as a "Black Friday" purchase.

The lens got here too late to go out and give it a try, but it seems a nice addition to my growing set of "El Cheapo" primes for the EM-5:

    Rokinon 7.5mm
    Panasonic 14mm
    Panasonic 20mm
    Sigma 30mm

    Umm, just a couple things...

    Silver E-M5 body (on sale & B&H)
    BLN-1 Lithium-Ion Battery
    2 SanDisk 16GB (10 UHS-I) cards
    RRS BOEM5-L Set "L" bracket
Triggertrap Mobile Dongle & (OMD) Connector: RM-UC1 and a CL-L1 for my GX1
A Micro Solution Digital Camera Anti-Reflection HD Display Protection Film (for the E-M5)

In this house, Santa always shops his own (else it would be death by neckties). But if Mrs Claus knew what I dropped today, the only photos taken would be forensic ones of my dead a$$.

    let it snow...

I bought a few cams on ebay.

Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)

It didn't have a thing to do with black friday though.

    Lightroom 4 for $79.99
    Olympus VF-3 for $99.99

I am tempted by some different lenses though haven't seen too many exciting lens deals for black Friday. I guess there is always cyber Monday!

I picked up the Sigma 30mm for my NEX-7.

I have had an E-PL5 body in my shopping cart a few times, but have so far managed to resist the checkout process.

So far I've got a Nook, a Pana 7-14, and a Canon M400. This is turning out to be expensive.

Nothing! I'm boycotting Black Friday as it has encroached on to my favorite holiday of the year. Thursday evening starts indeed...

2 SanDisk Ultra SDHC 16gb Cards for $9.99 each, and 2 SanDisk Ultra SDHC 32gb Cards at Best Buy for $17.99 each. I thought about the 8gb cards for $6.99 each but the 16gb were only $2.00 more.

I decided that I want to own the Sony NEX 6. No, I didn't order the camera but I did order both the Sigma 19mm f/2.8 and 30mm f/2.8 in E-mount. $149 each was just too good a deal to pass up. The NEX 6 will come soon. No, this isn't the way I usually go about buying cameras and lenses.

Nothing. I did sort of idly look for an M43 digital kit lens but found nothing used or new that wasn't priced at $85-125 or even above. Black Friday this year just wasn't all that great if you ask me. The sales were pretty lame I thought actually. I saw no major bargains on anything I wanted.

Wow, you're buying lenses without knowing they're OK within the return period?  Or you may already have another NEX camera to try them on.

No such thing as Black Friday here in Europe. Sales will come after Christmas, when shops are left with unsold stock and unhit sales targets. January is the month to wait for. I did however wait for a large store to do one of their regular "we pay your VAT" sales, which was effectively a 15 % rebate, and bought a PL45/2.8 for € 595. That was some 4 weeks ago.
