I'm going to be doing some research soon, and am looking into what I should be using for photo documenting said research. Most shots would be macro of relatively small things. Right now I have probably the exact wrong camera and lens; a Pen E-P2 and Volna-9 50mm f/2.8 macro. It's what I use for walk-around flower macro-ing. From what I can tell, I should be looking at accurate color reproduction, and minimal lens distortion, or cameras and lenses which are well documented for post-processing correction. Anyway. This is a new venture for me. I've always looked at camera and lens as artistic tools, and haven't really trod down the accuracy trail. Have you? What can you tell me about your experiences with it?
