Just got the above lens to muck around from a cheap sale, would a Minolta MD MC lens to Micro 4/3 Adapter be suitable?

it did say it mounts to Pentax/Ricoh.

    any comments appreciated. Thank you.

Vivitar made lenses in a variety of mounts. If the lens says it mounts to Pentax/Ricoh, I would assume it is a Kmount lens. You'll need a pentax K-mount to Micro 4/3rds adapter.

Post a photo of the mount for confirmation.

I agree Pentax / Ricoh that is a PK mount so for your vivitar you a PK M4/3 adapter.

I can confirm you that it is a PK mount , now an another thing your lens is rather rare as it features the KA mount for a vivitar 70-210 , this means on a pentax DSLR you would be able to control the aperture from the body ( by putting the aperture ring to A). On M4/3 do not put the aperture to A and use it as a full manual lens with the PK M4/3 adapter.
