Weird banding on my jpeg, not on the raw file

I got this weird banding on the top of my jpeg image when shooting my hummingbirds. Should I be concerned? Pany G6 with 45-150mm kit lens at 150mm. S priority. Strangely enough, this aberration wasn't present on the raw images.

That looks like a fouled SD Card or an SD Card that is about to fail. Do you reformat the card in the camera before you start taking photos? Formatting the card in the computer is not the same.

I format the card using the cam every time I move my pictures off the card...say once per week.

Should I not reformat and just delete? I always thought reformatting was cleaner.

No, you're right, reformatting in the camera is good. Does it happen with any other card?

Do a full overwrite format using the app below on your computer, your camera only does a quick format, then format the card in the camera before you shoot any more photo`s

Doing a full camera setting reset would not do any harm either.

Cheers John, I'll give that SD Formatter a whirl - from reading the webpage it looks pretty handy.
