This week's topic is one I am experienced with. I like to see pictures processed as HDR or tone mapped. My preference are HDR that look as much as possible natural please also amaze me with other types.

Here are two recent examples of my work:

    Weekly Challenge Rules

The challenge will be open from Friday through Wednesday, with a winner announced on Thursday (slowly sneaking back to schedule...). Everyone gets to submit 2 photos shot with an m4/3 camera in line with the chosen theme. The winner of the previous challenge gets to choose the new theme (topics can be anything under the sun) and serves as the judge for his/her weekly challenge.

For obvious purposes, the judge is disqualified from participating in his/her own weekly challenge. Instead, he/she should post up to 2 photos as examples to start out the challenge. Should the winner not be able to commit to being the next judge, the responsibility is passed on to the runner-up.

Contests are scheduled to open on Wednesday of each week. On Tuesday of the following week, the judge will name a blue ribbon winner, a runner-up, and 1 honorable mention. As we all know, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We may not all agree with the chosen winners; the judge is encouraged (but not required) to state what criteria he used to decide on a winner.

To make sure we don't break any Mu43 rules/regulations, by participating in this thread you are allowing the judge to repost your image for the sole purpose of announcing the winners for the Weekly Challenge.

Here are my selection for the three best in my humble eyes. Thanks for all the contenders this was the hardest challenge to judge since all the entries were great.

    First, the honorable mention: rhoydotp
I like the boys posting and the nice natural photo look.

    9114851355_74a7f4cf26_b.

    Here is the runner-up: GFFPhoto

This is a great use of HDR to get the full dynamic range in a badly lit environment.

    9088052713_e954aee424_b.

    And the winner: tdekany

Is it HDR, this is a great shot, in very harsh light environment the colors and composition are great and best of all it looks completely natural.

    I apologize!!

Elavon - I am so sorry. This picture was 1 of 5 to make an HDR image and somehow I entered this copy instead of the HDR version.

I apologize to everyone. Working long long hours these days, I should have been more careful. :dash2::dash2::dash2:

Hope you guys can forgive me.

    Congrats to the real winner!!!!!!

I just saw a new post by GFFphoto in the giant panoramas thread. I'm guessing that they don't kniw they won, so I sent them a private message.
