Hi everybody, a few people have PM'd me asking about where to buy the Grab Focus lens covers some of us have reviewed, and I've been telling them to PM Bravin Neff. Bravin has now opened his webstore, so if you'd like to buy lens covers, you can just visit this link:

I ordered one for my 17mm f/1.8. This might be great for keeping my metal lenses from tearing up the finish on my plastic ones, lol. I don't use grab focus much, and I can take the cover off if I need it. Seems like a nice product.

Now I want one for the 75mm f/1.8.

+1 to that john. I'd be interested in getting one for my 75 as well...

I ordered one for my 17/1.8 too. Now my silver primes will have matching covers. I also don't use the snap focus very often, and the cover comes off quickly, so not an issue for me.

Mine has shipped! They're not slow. My order# is "3". Gotta' love it!

Some places start their order# with some arbitrary number to look like they've been selling a lot. I shall cherish my #3!

Mine shipped a couple hours after I made the purchase! Originally I was order #1, but there was a snafu, so when the order was reprocessed, it was #11. People are buying ... and covers for Nex and Fuji X lenses are coming soon, according to the webstore's front page.

Nah, I thought it was kind of cool to have two different order numbers. I had two different student number in college.  Of course, in both cases, I only got to use one.

I had to look at the link for several minutes before I realized the product encloses the lens body, rather than mounting at the end like a hood. I had never heard of something like this - I guess it's for added protection in case you accidentally drop a lens?
