    Thanks for the head's up. There's a great western view from a hill on campus here, maybe I'll try for some shots early next week.

    Oh, I think think this is a very legit topic...
    I had already planned to try getting some shots tonight or tomorrow (conditions permitting) and perhaps again next week with it being near the crescent moon. The real interesting comet to watch for however could to be ISON. That should make it's appearance in the fall. Good luck to all those who try to photograph these objects with their ยต4/3 kits.

    looks like I'm going to head to Michigan "west coast" to see if I can see/photograph the comet. Thanks for the information.

    Hopefully some of us will be able to capture some great shots of the conjunction with the crescent moon on the 12th.
