    Thanks All,

It was a superb day and the OMD delivered great quality across the board, it was also a pleasure to use and light to carry after previous such events with a full frame & assortment of lenses!

I shot about 150 images and edited down to the quantity on my site - I did smile to myself when I was listening to another photographer with 2 big DSLR's with long lenses around his neck, sweating buckets and bragging about shooting 500 images on one camera and 200+ on the other..................some serious time constraints sorting that lot out.

We have a few more similar events happening this year and now the OMD has cut it's teeth on the first, I know that subject to my ability it will deliver on the others.

All in all, great camera, great day!

The two images that got my juices flowing are the male & female dressed as US War Correspondents and sporting a clutch of working cameras, Contax, Rolleiflex and beautiful military issue Speed Graphic!

Alas, neither of them were interested very much in photography so did not use their equipment despite it being fully functional and immaculate...............Sad!

Interesting photos. Looks like a fun day.

Iansky, do you live in the Cotswolds? My wife and I are interested in visiting that area at some point.

Not much for the military stuff, but you know, in the past, even the poor dressed better than now, especially when taking a trip. Folks used to take pride in how they looked even if they didn't have a dime in their pockets. This is one of the reasons I don't take many people shots. I just can't stand the sloppy "sweatshirt/teeshirt" look.
    Lovely photos showing the past.

I just love the subjects and everything that goes with them! All you need was a Spitfire or a Hurricane!
