So I got my Pinwide delivered today, and basically had a crash course in Pinhole photography...

60s of spinning around a room with a full flash:

=extremely dizzy for the next 20seconds...

and another 25s exposure through the window...evening light.

I would have received mine by now (i was #35) but had cancelled the funding thinking that I wouldn't use it. By the time I changed my mind and payed the $39.99 again I was something like backer #400. dammit! lol

I'm looking forward to using it outside as today is a glorious day!
I can see why sunlight would go well with this

    Pinwide cap

Please, if someone of the pinwide owners has the possibility of trying several sizes of push-on caps to find the correct one (for example, if she/he has a nice store nearby...), I would be grateful for this information!!

    PinWide and high f-stop dust...

Just got mine...I am reminded of something I learned last year when shooting at f16+ : any dust on the sensor is VERY prominent - a dark grey spot. With f96+...

Here are a couple of my 'experiments'! Big learning curve ahead! This is a fun lens.

    Hi -

I've had limited time, but thought I'd post this one: a pinwide video. :)

    [ame=http://vimeo.com/23017347]P4234489 on Vimeo[/ame]

Olympus EP1 & Pinwide. Simply put on iAuto and gave it a try. Works.

You really do need a lot of light, but it was a very sunny day...just a few seconds as a test.

I just started playing around with mine finally. Gotta figure out the best subject distance still. Anyone have that dialed in?

One thing I love about the Pinwide is that I can get right on top of the subject. This shot with the bulb the front of the camera was touching the light bulb. Subjects seems to be sharper the closer your are.

Ooh that's neat! How'd you get that color infrared effect?

I tweaked one of the presets in Lightroom. I think it was called 'cold tone". I usually prefer to shoot the Pinwide in b&w, but these looked better in color.

This was the closest I could get these shots to look like a film camera.
