I'm fortunate enough to have a gorgeous canal right on my doorstep, this year I've decided to make a bit of a project of it. For my first 3 walks this year I just took the PL25 1.4 along for the walk on my G5, the next 3 will be with the 45mm 1.8.

I'm trying to avoid obvious shots, so it will mainly be details. As it's January there is very little activity (most residents are moored up) but the boats will be out and about more by March

Here are a few with the PL25...

    Great set.

Are people actually living on those boats on the frozen canal?

The windows look to be open on the boat in that last picture, so I guess so - hardy Brits !!

Yes the majority of those moored up around here are lived in, the tourists won't be around for a few months.
