Great photos (and I'm in the minority in my lack of fascination with New Orleans). You have a fantastic eye for composition and for capturing people.

  3. Not too many cities where you can walk past an alligator

Great set of images! I'm sure that it must be a fascinating place to visit.

Love these! I think next year's new year resolution is going to be to learn street photography so I can mix it into travel photography. Great set.

thanks guys for the feedback

New Orleans is definitely a special city like no other. I can understand how people can be a bit reluctant to visit.

I still feel there is something there for everyone. Who doesn't like food? music? or friendly people?

that alligator came out of nowhere!

Thanks for posting these, Gabe. I used to live in the Big Easy and will be back there next month for my nephew's wedding. My wife has never been there so it'll be new for her.

Really good stuff. I like the Crocodile (scary!), the cemetery, and the dueling musicians.

if you are by a body of water, one needs to be careful, just like South Florida because gators do hang out. some tour guides will be cute and feed the gators, not really a good idea. good shots of the singers.

Great photos my friend. I think it's pretty awesome because I'm on holidays and have just got back into my hotel after strolling around Burbourn St.

Got lively when the beads started to be tossed around haha. You'll probably know what I mean.

no kidding. that looks like a lot of fun. I suck at bowling but w/ live music that sounds like a great idea.

pics or it didn't happen!

the movie was great wasn't it?

Nice shots! In addition to the gators being dangerous it's a bit risky wandering around the cemeteries as well. Interesting place to visit, good food, good music - but there's nothing I can think of that would entice me to live there.

That's what happens when you wander about with a hunk of raw chicken on a stick!
