Walk in the park

    Joaquin Miller park in the Oakland hills. Olympus E-P1+Nokton 25mm F0.95 @F2.8

    Grasses are putting out seeds fast.


    Thistle plant? with some spider webs.


    Dried seed pods.

    Wonderful bokeh and images, especially on #1 and #3. #1 and #2 look a touch on the blue side (at least on my monitor).

    The blue in #1 is there OOC and I didn't tweak the colors much. I don't recall what was in the background that was blue ... I'll have to gett back up there and double check.

    For #2 I did tweak the yellow tones to try and punch up the spiky tips. There is still a fair amount of blue in the background as well.

    I guess I'm saying it looks blue because it was blue! Still, it does look too blue to me as well. Why can't nature just behave?

    I fiddled a bit but nothing much except adjusting the WB via color temperature had the desired effect. Guess I need to work on how to balance colors.


    As far a bokeh ... Nokton 25mm F0.95 @F2.8 takes all the credit there.
