Inspired by the Pixel Peeping Article.

1935 Carl Zeiss Jena 5cm F2 Sonnar enlarger lens made back into a Camera lens. This required transplanting the optics into an empty optical fixture in Contax RF Mount. Wide-Open on the EP2:

and wide-open on the Nikon SP. Kodachrome 64, my last roll.

Lens is RF coupled for the Nikon, used with an Amedeo Adapter on the EP2.

Pixel Peeping with the EP2 allowed getting the spacing correct on the optics.

SO: anyone want to share test Pictures?

An M-Mount 50mm F2 Summicron made out of parts lenses. The front barrel had to be bored out to fit a front element from a Later Summicron. The trick was to get the spacing correct, otherwise the lens had the wrong focal length and would not agree with the Leica's Rangefinder:

Another lens test: 1956 KMZ Jupiter-3 in Leica mount, with the focus mount modified to focus closer than the normal 1m. Now goes to ~0.8m.
    Wide-Open on the M8.
