Has anyone experimented taking star trails or Milky Way shots using the fast manual voightlanders?
    Any examples? Thanks!

Too much coma in them for star shots. Pretty bad actually

I tried the voigtlander 15mm on a A7, only somewhat sharp around f/11-f/16. I'd rather go for a Samyang 14mm (also about half the price compared to the voightlander).

I may try my 12-35 - or look into a samyang.

Also look at the Oly 12mm f2. It's the fastest widea angle available. Relatively cheap used too. The oly 7-14 is wider but slower at f2.8 but you can also have a longer shutter speed. No idea if that makes up for slower lens

You can get decent results at 12mm f2.8. I have one called "timeless" on my stream taken at that with the 12-40 pro.

One of the fastest and widest (but fisheye) would be the Oly 8mm/1.8, sharp enough wide open too.
