I'm trying out this lens, might buy it from a friend. I like how it renders images and it's just very cool

Those 'slower' voightlanders are adorably cute little lenses. I have on CV lens (35/1.2 II) which is really great, and I sometimes look at these little lenses and wonder...then realize that I'd mostly want to use it on the Sony, and that the native 35/2.8 is probably lighter, almost definitely sharper, and just about as fast.

Fast and MF are mutually exclusive terms (at least in my case ). However, on the EP5 or EM5 the 2.5 aperture is plenty fast enough. With the GX7 it's a mite slower due to the IBIS, but still fast. Few lenses are as sharp as the PL25f1.4 that I had, but OTOH, sharpness is not everything.....

I will say that as far as convenience, ease of use and versatility, it is very hard to beat native AF lenses. I'll go one step further and say that good, native zoom lenses are even better for all around shooting. These little prime lenses are basically just fun gear to own. And they definitely look great on the cameras
