I just bought Vivitar Series 1 28-90 f2.8 zoom lens and need an adapter to my GH2. Not sure what or where to buy it...anyone give a newbie a hand?

You'll need to know what mount it is, a Vivitar Series One lens can have several mount types like Nikon F, Canon FD, Minolta MD/MC, etc. etc.

You may want to post a rear view and side view of the lens, someone here will undoubtedly be able to tell you what mount it is. Alternatively, you can google around for lens mounts, Wiki can serve as a starting point.
  3. Bill, you need to determine what mount it is first, then go look for the correct adapter. Your profile doesn't say where you live, but they are available via eBay, Amazon, etc.
Here is a good place to start...

If you can't work out what mount it is, post a picture here of both ends.....

    Cheers, Tom

Here's a site with photos of most mounts to help you figure out which version of the Vivitar you have purchased. Alternately, some lenses have a stamp on the mount end that indicates the type of mount they use, e.g. "C/FD" would be Canon FD mount and "OM" would be Olympus OM.
