vivitar/oly f3.5 (1984 tokina)

i didn't see any info on this in forum. any tips on how to get max sharpness from this lens? focal lengths, f stop settings or combinations of both. any help would be appreciated greatly!!!

Put camera on tripod (IBIS off if you have it) and take shots staring wide open and stepping the aperture down. Compare and decide which is best.

If it is a zoom from 1984, probably not worth the bother.
