any suggestions on settings for max sharpness and IQ?
According to an old test from "Chasseurs d'Images":
In the centre, sharpness is good at f/3.9 then very good at 70 mm. At 135-200 mm, it is first medium then good.
In the corners, it stays one step below, from good to medium, at f/5.6 or more.
Vignetting is noticeable at f/3.5 then negligible at f/5.6 or more.
Distortion is rather marked (strong?) at 210 mm.
(I hope my translation is not too broken)
They gave two stars for the IQ (from 0 to 4)
I guess that the IQ in the corners and the vignetting will be less important in 4/3 than in 35 mm.
In summary, step down to f/5.6 for the best IQ.
