This lens seems to lack a little something dbuckle... you think?

Contrast or sharpness? I noticed it in that first post from October, but I thought perhaps it just wasn't cut out for landscapes..

How are you feeling about this lens?

I prefer my Konica Hexanon 65-135 f4. I get more keepers from it. The Vivitar might do better on a tripod.

Hi Debuck,

I don't think there's any doubt the Hexanon is a better performer than the Vivitar. I was never a big Vivitar fan... even back in the day. The Hexanon, on the other hand, was another under rated performer.

These are from the Minolta mount version of the same lens. I personally like the look this lens gives but is a little awkward on my GX-1.
