Buy & Sell Listing - Want to Sell
    Selling
Vivitar 55/2.8 macro lens (FD mount, with adapter)

Prices
$65 firm

Location
CA, USA

Ships to
CONUS

Description
I gave it another week and no matter how hard I try, I'm just not good with manual focus with a legacy lens. It was off the market for a while, but now, it's officially back, at reduced price.

1:1 macro is redundant for me in my kit - I have an Olympus E-1 with the ZD 35/3.5 macro that is a dedicated macro rig.

Anyway, $65 takes it. So for $65, you get the Vivitar 55/2.8 macro lens, with front cap and FD-m4/3 adapter. no rear cap.

Glass is clear and body is in great shape. There's some internal dust and the focus ring rubber is no longer there - but it's entirely cosmetic and if you ask me, it doesn't look bad without it.

EDIT: the mount has developed a slight rattling (I think it's the bearings in it, but I don't know for sure)...however, with the FD-to-FD:m4/3 adapter, there are really two breech locks to secure the lens. Anyway, I don't think it's an issue since the mount is still secure.

    042Medium.

Some recent shots taken with the lens (posted on my blog...and processed with an intentionally 'retro' look):

    001-3-medium.

    003-2-medium.

    041-medium.

These sell on ebay anywhere between $79 to $150. For $65, you'll be set for 1:1 macro.

fellow pinoy - send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

you wouldn't happen to have an older spare m4/3 body that you'd want to trade?

    anyway, send PM!

it's up on ebay now - but I'll end the auction for a forum member.
