I'm not certain, but this lens may be the same thing as the 20mm. I have seen elsewhere that it was marked as both, go figure.

These are some of the first I have taken with it. It will take a little more time to figure out if it's worth keeping around. I am on the search for a great legacy wide angle lens.

I think I will keep the lens around. It isn't the best, but I think I can get some good results with it.

Nice shot and looks a good performer. I wonder whether this is the same lens I had a few years back, branded as Tokina...

This site says that it was created by Cosina.

Well tracked down - working out who made these Vivitars can be a challenge. The Vivitar/Tokina/Spriatone 17mm 3.5 is also worth a look if you find one cheapish - finding reasonable performing ultra-wide legacy glass isn't easy.

Saw your post and dug through my old Minolta stuff and low and behold found among other things a new one in the box from maybe 25 years or so ago.
Connected it to an adapter and the GX7 and was surprised at how close I could focus. This was taken inside with available light. The roses were for wife on 69th birthday yesterday. Rather high iso 2500 shutter 125 f3.8 no processing and no crop.

The lens is pretty close focussing.

I really enjoy using this lens. I get some good results with it. I hope you enjoy using it on your GX7. I look forward to seeing more.

How did you reach/make this exposure?

I'm not sure what you want to know. I shot it with an MD mount Vivitar 19 3.8 on my E-M5. Aperture was most likely at f5.6 or f8. I tend to not record the aperture when shooting with adapted lenses. I know, I know... The exposure was for 0.5 second. The camera was sitting on a small table that was inside of the schoolhouse. I used a 2 second delay to eliminate movement.

PP in LR. It has a slight crop. But mostly I increased the warmth - enhanced yellows, oranges and reds, decreased greens/blues. Slightly increased contrast and clarity.

I am a little frustrated with the composition being unbalanced. But there isn't much to do about that with the subject/location.
