Thrift store find, didn't expect much, but plesantly surprised so far. It's FAR more practical than my Vivitar Series 1 70-210/3.5, which is much larger, heavier, and clumsy to operate. This one uses a ring to set the length, vs a slide, so no creep issues. It has a non-rotating section that looks to be wide enough for a tripod collar, but it's light enough that it works OK with the camera's tripod mount. Not a macro, but marked "close focusing", which means about three feet minimum focus. Preliminary shots, first two wide open handheld in low light, then stopped down to f/11 indoors on the tripod.
