Nice images. I took this trip once and it was a beautiful journey.

Speaking as a person who has taken this ferry route hundreds of times (regularly for the last 27 years) you have really managed to capture the feel of October on the West coast. Very well done!

Jack: Thanks! I'd lived in Victoria since '84 until recently--my wife and I moved to Vancouver in August. So I'm making the trip quite a bit more now to see family & friends back home--not enough that I'm sick of it yet, but distracting myself with a camera helps. :)

I love the shot of the man in front of the window. And I find that ferries are one of the best places to take interesting photographs of people. The run from Nanaimo to Tsawwassen is especially nice as it is longer than many of runs operated by the Washington State Ferries. Highly recommended if you are traveling to Vancouver Island with a vehicle.

Very nice work. I've ridden the Victoria Ferry and you have captured the ride nicely.
