Okay, this is super tempting. I just want to get a V1 so I can get the FT1 adapter with my Nikon glass!

It's AF is very fast and accurate in good light. DPR thinks that this camera could be used for outdoor sports. The controls are not easy to get at in the menus, but the IQ is pretty good as it has a 1" sensor. It's bigger than the E-PM1 but not by much. DPR has it's usual thorough review complete with pixel peeping. For $299 it's a very nice compact camera.

I so much want to try this out just to try it out, but I have the RX100, and just can't justify both, and the RX100 is just so portable. Still, so very tempting.

Geez, I was going to comment that at least the black 10mm and 30-110mm are out of stock, so less tempting if you can't get the lenses with the $100 discount. I checked to make sure my information was up to date - and of course the black 30-110mm is back in stock now!

I will avoid the temptation, as I have a new old G3. Got my 14yo son a Canon t3i for shooting his skateboard tricks a few weeks ago - I was trying to talk him into the V1 instead due to its high frame-rate video.

And of course, I just like to try new toys....

Just an FYI for anyone interested in taking advantage of this $299 deal: Cameta Camera is offering a refurbished Nikon One 30-100mm zoom with one-year warranty for $137. Together with the $299 deal at B&H, one can have a fairly complete little system for not too much money:

Nikon 1 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 VR Nikkor Lens (Black) - Factory Refurbished includes Full 1 Year Warranty

Cameta is also offering the 10mm f/2.8 prime for the Nikon One (also refurbished with one-year warranty) for $159:

Nikon 1 10mm f/2.8 Nikkor Lens (Black) - Factory Refurbished includes Full 1 Year Warranty

I've purchased refurbished from Cameta before (an Olympus Zuiko 14-150 superzoom for micro four thirds that Amin bought as well) and there's no problem. Order with confidence.

Me neither, but I'm afraid I got it. And now I'm trying to find a way to justify the 18.5mm f1.8 for it.
