I purchased the Panasonic 7-14mm lens knowing about the flare but hoping the copy I would get or my shooting situations would prevent it, but I tend to get it most of the time, so I'm returning it. Has anybody tried the Olympus 7-14mm four thirds lens with the Olympus OMD EM5? If so, how is the quality? Is it much better than the Olympus 9-18mm m4/3 or should I just get the 9-18mm? The 9-18mm will work but the 7-14mm would be better for my situations, but the oly 7-14mm would be bigger, heavier and more expensive.

    Thank you!

Can a mod move this? It doesn't belong in the adapted lens archive. Thanks!

The FT 7-14 is a really big and heavy lens. I have owned the Pana 7-14, but now run the MFT 9-18. It's actually a pretty good lens IMHO. I'd suggest you give it a try.
