Hmm ... if I connect my OV2 to my E-P2 and transfer images, it's slow (and seems to eat battery) but it gives me the option to transfer only new images. ... if I use a card reader, it's really quick and doesn't use the camera's power, but it doesn't give me the option to transfer new images only ... I know others use a card reader only, so I wondered how do they manage this inconvenience?

Actually, I use a card reader (it came with a Sandisk sdhc card eons ago) and in Olympus Viewer 2 I use the "Import from camera" function - it shows the sdhc card as a "camera", and the already imported files are marked as such.

    Ah ... Thank You!
I also have a SanDisk reader and it works perfectly, just as you describe ... why didn't I think to try that?
