Dave that's a great shot!
I'm not a C-mount pro, but I enjoy using the 25mm f/1.2 ebay lens. It offers unique images that put instagram to shame for impersonating the old cheap camera lens effect.
I also bought a 10mm Cine lens to use as a fisheye, from a guy who used to make movies with it. I use the Cmount adapter that came with my ebay lens. This lens is disappointing in that it only covers about half of the frame (a circle in the center) and can only seem to focus within a 4ft range. I've also tried a CS adapter but that didn't improve. It's too bad because the glass is clean and aperture and focus are smooth moving.
Jonathan thank you for sharing your link. the lens does produce some amazing photos. The child's photo is stunning. Is she yours?
My only complaint with this lens is that it's quite soft at 1.4 and the focus throw is incredibly long, making it hard to nail focus quickly.
How long is the 75mm and what is its filter size?
Here's a picture of the Cosmicar 75mm 1.4:
It has a 58mm filter thread and I attached a hood for flare protection. It's a very heavy lens, but it feels solid and since the c-mount adapter is so thin, it practically feels like a native lens!
