I just received my OMD with 12-50 Zuiko kit lens. I notice the L-FN and MACRO buttons on the side of the lens. However, pushing either of them doesn't seem to alter any behavior of the OMD. Close up focus seems to work automatically without touching the button and I have no idea what the L-Fn button is supposed to do. Can anyone explain?

The manual kinda of sucks for the lens, well- if it comes as part of the E-M5 kit. It took me awhile to figure it out.

Freezes the AF. In the camera settings for Fn buttons- there's the ability to change the button to do something else.

For the macro- hold it, and push the zoom ring up until the little window on the side says "macro."
