Great deal and Roberts Camera is a very good store to deal with. I rate them at the same level as B&H and Adorama!

The pictures show it with the viewfinder, but nowhere in the description does it actually say it comes with the VF-4 as far as I can see. Anybody who wants to buy ought to check with them about that first.

I would just shoot Roberts an email and verify if it does comes with the EVF, I've bought lots of big ticket items from them and never had a problem.

They must've updated the listing, because it now says "Comes with the VF4 viewfinder" right after the title of the listing in the lower part of the page (right after the "Roberts" logo).

I checked with Robert's and the kit does come with the VF-4. Good deal.

That's a really good deal. The lens goes for $350 and the vf4 for $125 or so. Sell those parts and you get a ep5 body under $300.

More realistically... 17mm at $315 and VF-4 around $140. And if you sell using eBAY you lose $60 in commission and $20 or more in shipping. End up paying $374 or more for the camera, which is what you can already get the body for on eBAY (used in like new condition).

Seems like Oly is having a tough time moving inventory. 40% off and only 5 sold after a day.

I'm really tempted to trade my E-M10 for this to get the 1/8000th shutter and compatible battery with my E-M5 II, but I really don't like having to fiddle with the VF-4 since I do use the EVF quite a bit. I'd be all over the Pen series if they had an integrated EVF!

I completely agree. Trying hard to resist this offer. Will most likely pass and wait for the E-M5 II to drop further, since my preference is also for built-in EVF, tiltable screen, and I also would like to have silent shutter. The E-P5 is not going to see any further development anyway...
