Great cyclocross race down in Boulder. I brought the 7-14, 8, 40-150 and 12-40 with the EM1. Great light as they race later in the afternoon.

Great shots of my favorite sport. There is starting to be decent scene here in Texas, but I miss living and racing in Seattle.

Edit - forgot to add, you have the perfect set of lenses for this. I have been thinking about shooting this more often and decided I needed the 8mm and 12-40. Could live without the 7-14 and I have my 50-200 SWD already.

Thanks Phocal! I used to race cross but haven't pinned on a number in about 4 years. But my friend was racing so I checked it out. I tried with the 75mm F1.8, but no shots were in focus.

I always gravitate towards the wide angles. I think the 8mm is on my em1 now!

This is my CX bike now:

I have not raced in about that long also. I shot the Texas State Championships last year and it got me interested in it again. I may try racing again next year, just depends if I can ever get around to training again. My current cross bike is still my old Redline, which is completely tore down right now and I need to get it put back together. That's a nice ride, I really need a new one with disc breaks.

Why did the 75 not work? I am going to assume because it just doesn't have the fast motors like the Pro zooms.

I seem to like the extremes more then anything. Fisheye and a telephoto and I am happy. If I didn't want to shoot sports I could get by with 4 lenses: 8mm, 17mm, 150/2, 300/4
