Hopefully the ridiculous name of this manor (its more of a manor than a castle, but in France we like to call every big house a "Château") caught your attention. It has been abandoned for quite some time, sits an hour away from Paris in the middle of nowhere, and of course this is not its real name (any urban explorer will tell you, never give the real name of the place you post pictures of).

In any case and since this is the B&W subforum, here is a selection of shots, all taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 X Vario - except for a pretty obvious fisheye shot (Samyang/Rokinon 7,5mm f/3.5). Every shot has been processed with Silver Efex Pro 2.

Feel free to let me know what you think!

(merged 5 exposures with HDR Efex Pro 2 with that one)

Thank you all for the feedback!

For those who do not speak French, the newspaper is a special edition for the burial of French President Paul Doumer who was assassinated in May 1932.

@Ulfric: I know, what a ridiculous nickname right? I'm not sure why someone chose that one because I couldn't find any remote reference to a monkey in there. The most impressive thing is that the castle has been preserved from burglars, even though the property is completely open and no one is guarding it.

The fisheye photo really caught my attention.
Great framing. It draws me in everytime.
    The newspaper shot also great.

    Thanks for sharing.

(And thanks Qiou for the brief explanation of the newspaper. All I can read is "photographies").
