When I unload images to the Gallery they have to be 100kb or smaller otherwise it just does not happen - i.e. they never get there

Is anyone else having this problem

I can load images of any size from my computer to my rented web space and embed them in the M43 site without a problem

    ???

    Amin

I uploaded that from a remote site - i.e. I uploaded it to a remote site, (my hosting space) and then to this site

not direct from my desktop computer

I can upload any size image from my desktop to any other site

If I try to upload an image larger than 100kb from my computer to MU43 it will not load

In the dialog box for uploading images - there are two sections - the first one - choose a file, (from the desktop), will not work for images over 100kb

The second section - from an http address will work for any file size

If you look at all my uploads, except Bertie, they are all less than 100kb

Not to hijack this thread, but I also have a question. How exactly do I upload multiple photos at a time. Right now, I'm uploading one by one. The wording for uploading gives the impression that I can upload multiple photos, but when the box opens up, I can't select more than one file.

Dj, the only way to upload multiple photos at a time is to upload a zip file containing multiple images.

Hi everyone, I can upload large foles of several MB's without any problem.
    (from my computer directly)
But...I got to login twice before actually being loggedin.
Does anyone else have the same "problem" ?

:eek:fftopic: Bit off topic, but is there a way for me to delete some of my images to give me more space.

I have seen a thread around with info about the galleries but I can't find it atm.

    Thnx

    Hi icon,

can you see the menu above and to the right of your image in the gallery marked "Photo Options"

If you open that menu, can you see "Edit Photo"?

If you select "Edit Photo" you should see your image, with a tick box at the bottom for deleting your image.

    Can you see that?

    Cheers

    Brian

I tried to post my pictures a little bit larger today. I exported from Aperture to Desktop making the pic 50% size of original JPG but even though the photo was exactly 1MB it still would not load and I had to go back into Aperture and re-export it in the size that I have been using from the beginning. I often see nice big pictures from other people but have no idea how they do that??
