Some of you have already seen some of my photos in the various "photos taken with X lens", and people seem to have enjoyed them, so I wanted to let people know I'm working on a new photo book project about the the marine life found on the California coast. I've started a crowd funding site to get it going, and I'm hoping those interested will contribute. Of the books that have been published on the subject, most are many years old and weren't shot with modern digital equipment. I would like to be able to publish something new for people to enjoy. Not only will your donation go toward the production of the project, those that donate $35 or more will receive the final photo book, and a portion of your donation will go to the Pacific Grove Hyperbaric Chamber Fund, which needs your help to continue operating for the lives and safety of all the divers in near Monterey. If you can only chip in a few dollars that would be appreciated too. Up to this point, all my photos have been taken with an Oly E-PL3, but for the project, I will be using my new E-M1 in order to capture what will hopefully be some of the best photos I've taken. My project site is at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/underwater-photography-project. You can see the photos I've taken to date at http://gallery.mom-is-a-terrorist.com. Thanks.

If anyone is interested in helping out with this project, please let me know, visit the project page, tell your friends. There really hasn't been a book showing the marine life of California underwater in years, and almost nothing since digital photography hit the scene. Plus it's going to a good cause.
