Two views of an abandoned boat, taken at two different times of day. Both were using the G1 and 14-45mm kit lens and processed on a 10-inch netbook screen with trial software (vacation gear):

Thanks all! Don, these were taken in Cancun. I'm still here, returning home tomorrow. My little netbook display is the pits, so I'm only processing a few images, unsure how they'll look when I get on a better display. Here's one of some driftwood on the same beach:

Geeze Amin,
your breaking my heart. Being stuck in Cancun.
Don't even tell me Brian's there with you....

Maybe you'll be back in time for the image quest.
Cancun....tsk tsk, what shall we do ...

I like the second shot of the boat very much. Textures are great, kind of gritty like the rocks around the boat. Almost like the boat was becoming part of the natural landscape.

Cool, the last shot looks like an IR shot! my favourite.

Have a safe trip home.

Cheers

Thanks all! We had a great time. Hopefully I'll get some time to process and share a few more photographs from the trip.
