According to 43rumors, Panasonic will announce two new m43 lenses along with the GX8 & FZ300 announcement on July 16th.

One is almost certainly some sort of telephoto lens, based on recent conversations with Panasonic executives (hopefully an updated 100-300, either f/4-5.6 or constant f/4, although I doubt that due to the size, but then again I would love to be proved wrong ;)).

I've heard no other rumor though about what the second lens could be.

    A planet called Gaia
could also be matte black versions of the 12-35mm and 35-100mm, ideally with better coating and improved ois..

About as exciting as when they did it for the 14mm f2.5 and 20mm f1.7, so on a scale of 1-5, I'd rate it a

Roll them all together into a 9-100mm f/1.7 Leica pancake for $300.

I'd buy a 100-300 with improved ergonomics and slightly better 300mm performance.

9mm "f/whatever" prime would be most exciting. Edge to edge sharpness first, size second and aperture value third.

The pessimistic side of me thinks it will just be a cosmetic upgrade to existing lenses. I hope I am wrong, though

No, there's something exciting in the wings. Daniel Cox hinted that much after meeting Panasonic execs.

If only they would put the exact same optics of their 20mm into a fast-focus mechanism ... 20mmMkIII

43rumors seems to think it might be a 100-400. Hope it doesn't go past 1500€.

    Concerning a 9-100 for $300:
    How about 4 for $1000! What a deal! ;)

All kidding aside, a 9mm, or say 17mm, or the rumored 100-400 all would be most welcome by me.

My guess is f/4-5.6. At f/5.6 @ 400mm it would require a 72mm front element, so we're probably looking at 77mm filter threads.

I'm sure focusing speed won't be an issue, nor will the speed of the iris mechanism (the big issue with the 100-300 when trying to shoot C-AF and burst). Now the two remaining big questions are:
    1. What's it going to cost?
    2. When will it be available (43rumors seems to think the lens will just be announced on a roadmap, possibly with a non-functional prototype shown).
They really need to beat Olympus to the market regarding their 300mm f/4 lens, since it'll incorporate OIS, and be a 420mm f/5.6 lens with the 1.4x TC. Olympus at Panasonic's lunch regarding the 150mm f/2.8 prime lens, it's time for Panasonic to return the favor...
