Earlier in July, I spent two days bush walking in the Stirling Ranges a five hour drive south of Perth, Western Australia.

I have been able to limit myself to posting 10 images from this beautiful part of Western Australia.

All images were taken with my Olympus OMD E-M5 and the MZD 9-18 mm lens with polarizer.

Comments or suggestions are always welcome.

    I hope you enjoy!

Nicely done! I don't remember ever seeing pictures of this region. Thanks for the "walk-a-bout".

Thanks for posting these great shots, Shaun. I often forget that these types of landscapes exist in pancake-flat WA.

dannat, There are often no clouds at all over most of Western Australia. With winter however there are often lots of clouds and great light, especially down south. A landscape photographers dream!

Thanks for the post Pilot! While you were trekking out here I was trekking through the Northern Territory experiencing the McDonnell Ranges. I know what you mean when you say how hard it is just to post a few. Looks like you had a fun time with alot of exercise.

This one stands out heaps. Love it.
