I travelled in South East Asia over the recent holidays, from Christmas into January. Made four main stops; Singapore, the island Koh Rong in Cambodia, Angkor Wat/Siem Reap and then finally Bangkok. Be aware, image flood ahead...

First, images from Singapore, many night shots in the Marina Bay area with the hotel Marina Bay Sands as the sort of main target. Starts with two down-scaled hi-res shots, E-M1II and 12-100mm.

Next stop, Koh Rong, an island outside Cambodia. Different in all ways vs Singapore.
This island is not yet too exploited, no high buildings or hotels, the tourists are mainly backpackers living in small "bungalows" or even tents.
Wifey looks a bit worried in the boat taxi.

The energy and the folk characterized the place, I was amazed by the locals, all the kids, etc.

Then to the mythical Angkor Wat, or Siem Reap as is the town where you live.
This ~800 year old Buddhist temple area is incredibly large, we were totally lost the first day...

Great set! I was in Bangkok last year and it's an amazing town for sure. I'm staring to get the impression that they designed Singapore for photographers to drive tourism - amazing shots :hail:

very nice pictures, I actually visited those three places in the last 6 months as well, unfortunately, I didn't have too much time to take photos in Singapore, as I was travelling with my in-laws, so lots of family portraits. Having said that, it is interesting to see how other photographers take pictures from the same spot. Good work !

Welcome to Singapore, lovely shots all around, hope you like it. The new attraction Jewel mall, at Changi Airport Terminal 1 was just opened a month ago, do check it out if you come by this way again :)

I love the cityscapes. Were you hand-holding the 12-100mm at night? I'm impressed how well f/4 did at night.
Thanks Wijang! It's a mixture of handheld and tripod shots. Wideangle shots can be done with long exposures (seconds) with the 12-100, the hi-res shots requires a tripod of course.
