any one try? I'm thinking about it.
I've tried it with limited success. It depends on what sport, it doesn't work if you have to have it strapped to yourself (like snowboarding or surfing) because it's just too big and heavy. if you're putting it on something else large like a motorcycle it works great but you do have to practice a bit to get the right setup.
You're going to have to rig up certain things yourself though like an exteranal timelapse thingy, or a long distance shutter cable, camera mounts etc.
It's a lot of effort which the gopro provides all for you, but the image / picture quality is worth it if you're into it.
Honestly, the GoPro3 just works in that capacity, and has a darned good image, and is a lot more durable than any m43 camera I've used. Also most likely cheaper once you add any lens to any body.
The small size and ruggedness of the GoPro would exclude the use of even the smallest m43 body in most cases.
