Trouble with Oly Updater

Morning All,

I am trying to use the Oly updater to save my settings, but am getting an error "Unable to detect the Camera. Check if the camera is correctly connected to the PC"

I do have my new OM-D Mkii connected to my Mac via USB cable. I do have internet.

My OM-D shows a USB screen that displays the options for Storage, MTP....

Any ideas on how to get the OM-D to be recognized by the Mac.

Try closing the updater, switch camera off, disconnect, and reboot.

After reboot, start Oly updater, and only when it asks connect camera and switch on.

That's how it worked for me, I had the same problem.

I have read that only the most current (v2.0 I think) Oly Updater will work with the E-M1 II.

My OM-D shows a USB screen that displays the options for Storage, MTP....

Make sure to download the latest version, as Wim said, and to select 'Storage'.

Thanks every one! I did have the old version of the Updater and had trouble getting it off my computer before I could download a new version. I have now version 2 of the updater and have successfully saved a set of Settings.

It took a digital crowbar and small box of digital dynamite! AND YOUR HELP
