Just a reminder to those of you who live in / near New York City. This evening, beginning just before sunset, the 10th annual Tribute in Light will take place in lower Manhattan. I've photographed it every year. There is some talk that this year's could be the last due to a lack of financial support.
For those who are not familiar with the event, here's some background info:
Tribute in Light - 2011 - NYC - New York City
While it can be seen for up to 60 miles, I've found the waterfront in Jersey City at the foot of Grand Street (3 blocks North of the Colgate Clock) is a great location. It's directly across the river, very safe, and always many photographers to share the moving experience. I'll post a few shots, soon.
