Late afternoon eastbound Airport Express-service is leaving Bad Belzig. Soon the Talent 2-EMU will leave the 90 km/h restricted curve and race downhill with it's top speed of 160 km/h. A nice Sunday is coming to an end, as you might see from the sunset sky in the background. I was heading out right after work to enjoy some fresh air, the picture is more or less an afterthought and I had little time setting it up.

I hope these tram photos are welcome here, as I couldn't find a tram-specific thread.

Portland Tram Number 594 was restored in the 1990s and is housed in the Portland Powerhouse Motor and Car Museum.

I was amused by this notice (along with the seating capacity statement on another sign), given the way we have changed our thinking about proximity to others during these days of the pandemic!

As we left the museum, another restored historic tram carriage was trundling past on its duties as tour conveyance:

I posted another version of the same general shot sequence in the B&W section earlier. This photo has had some tweaking to bring out the colors. The train is somewhat plain. The bridge (Thomas Viaduct) is a Historic Landmark near my Town of Ellicott City. The Thomas Viaduct is reported to be the world's oldest multiple arched stone railroad bridge and one of the oldest railroad bridges still in use.

Arquejols Viaduct - Arquejols - Chemin de Stevenson-2018-D3-08 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Walking pass the Arquejols Viaduct; it was quite an imposing structure. The viaduct is part of the now disused Le Puy to Langogne railway line. Passenger traffic ceased on the line in 1939 and freight traffic came to an end in 1988.

The Chemin de Stevenson passes below the viaduct before ascending a step track to a point above the railway line.

Day 3 of 12 - Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas to Langogne: Walking the Chemin de Stevenson (GR 70 Robert Louis Stevenson Trail) in the south of France.

CSX Heritage units 1776 "Honoring Our Veterans" and 3194 "Honoring Our Law Enforcement" recently returned from promotional tour and returned to revenue service. Pictured here in Folkston, GA pulling a mixed freight south.

How'd you manage to capture them both? Were they announced?
If they were I didn't know it. I spent a couple of days at the Folkston Funnel and just happened to catch them. Had I known Heritage units were coming I would have been positioned for better light. Both units were on the same train; 3194 pulling and 1776 pushing.

And the sun was gone. I wanted to try this spot, even though the weather was a hit and miss, a hit because we had some dramatic clouds taking turns with bright sunshine breaking through them. As I waited for the westbound RE7-service, the dramatic clouds vanished about half an hour ago and the sun disappeared behind a large, thick layer of clouds.
