Awaiting restoration at the Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway Heritage Centre at Cynheidre, Carmarthenshire.
This is on a former Mineral Railway Line that used to feed the many coalfields along the Gwendraeth Valley.
Most of the former trackbed is now used as a cycle route, known as the Swiss Valley trail.

On a recent local cycle ride I stopped off at Battersby station on the Middlesbrough to Whitby line. This is a line more for the journey than speed it's down to 10mph in many places, but stops off at Grosmont home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Some may find this video interesting the rout and how to drive it. battersby to whitby
