    Hi there,

I am going on a trip to NY soon and think my telephoto in the canyons of skyscrapers will not be as useful as the wider zoom.

If anyone is interested in a trade, let's make a deal!

My lens is only 1 month old. I used it lightly on my recent vacation in California.

    Thanks

I think your 14-150 would be the perfect lens for this city, FWIW.

That's evil - planting the seed of doubt  To be fair, I have flip-flopped on this many times.

Last year in Europe, a superzoom was great as there was so much architectural detail that needed the reach of the zoom. Also shooting over and around crowds was often necessary.

I'll be in New York for 3 days and then onto a cruise. My recall of New York from 15 years ago was density and not a lot of open space.

I don't think I'll get many bites so maybe my decision will be made easier by the other members of the forum :)
