    Hello folks,

I have the increasing curiosity to acquire one of these lenses for my GF1 to partner up with my Oly 17mm and I'd love to know which lens would AF quicker and would be better in your opinion as far as sharpness, colors, etc.

    Thanks

FWIW I've grown extremely fond of my Pan 14-45mm and Highly recommend it.. Also you may or may not already know that the 14-45 has a metal rather than plastic mount (14-42) and its OIS can be switched on and off on the lens barrel rather than via the menu systems..

    Durability, long-term.

The 14-45 is sharper. The 14-42 (Panasonic) is cheaper. The Olympus is a tad smaller, but it lacks stabilization, so give it a miss (especially mk1 version which has horribly slow focusing).
