    A part of me likes to always have more options or ideas to tweak a raw. And the other part is just shrugging : « you hate Canon colors anyway, otherwise you'd have already bought one, you silly boy ! »

    good link...like the analogy that shooting video on these consumer cameras is more akin to JPeg than RAW...makes a lot of sense and explains the RED pricetag too... it shoots RAW

    Enjoyed reading your blog regarding Andrew Reid's settings. Andrew Reid suggests that these settings are applicable to "any white balance setting". However, PJohngren over at the below referenced thread makes an excellent point: "Auto WB is all over the map and changes at the whim of the camera - it will not produce consistant results. I feel you need a stable WB and then season it to taste. That way you will know exactly what you are getting."
