Three Mono Architecture Images

    These three images were made last month during a Baltic Cruise.

    I didn't really intend to process them all as mono conversions, but just payed around with Silver Efex Pro 2 and concluded that the mono versions worked best.

    I'd be grateful for any feedback and comments.

    a little bit over sharpened IMHO, but other than that GREAT SHOTS. 2 & 3 my fav!.

    Thanks for the feedback - I did cut back on sharpening, but I guess the high contrast mono treatment requires a little less. Useful food for thought!

    Really interesting processing on number 3, I like it! The first image really lends itself to B&W. I'd be curious to see number 2 in color. :cool:

    #3 has lots of impact - it was processed in Silver Efex using one of the "Streetshooter" pre-sets with a few minor adjustments.

    As to #2, my original intention had been to do a colour version (the bricks are a beautiful dark red colour), but in terms of tone and graphic impact the mono conversion just seemed to work better.
