Some great pics on this thread and this may not be the right place to post this. But if I may, a sneak preview of a scale model project I'm working on for a client (who gave me permission to post this image here). He lent me his Formula One models in their display cases and asked me to make some images. I am very impressed with how detailed the 1/43 scale models are and I look forward to some close-up/macro work on them.
I haven't finished the project yet (only 6 finished images so far) but may post more once I have.
Only the debris spray and speed lines were added to this image in post. Everything else was shot practically (the road, grass and sparks are all real).

Always wanted one of these (schuco) in the mid 1950,s, but they were about £5. With a little tool kit, knock off wheels, axle stands and a powerful clockwork motor, they were very high tech: and, sadly out of reach.
Now I have one and No one plays with it! (‘cept me). EM10 2. O 45 1.8 f6.3 live composite + small led torch and tissue paper. (First attempt)
